FAQ

I've ordered my piece, when will it be at my doorstep?

I work full time as a teacher, so I have planned out shipping days to be every Friday afternoon. I ship to the US via USPS standard flat rate, so you should have your order within 2 weeks of ordering your ready to ship piece! Customs have a longer turnaround time, reach out if there is a rush!

What are these tiny dots in my piece?

Micro-bubbles, spores, pollen, you name it! Try as I may, I sometimes miss the tiniest bubbles or debris in cast before it cures. I have refined my methods, however, putting organic material into resin introduces tiny air pockets to be fished out and popped carefully; this is tedious work, which is why many resin artists stick to synthetic materials and colors in their pours. In some pieces these tiny spots may be pollen from flowering parts or spores from ferns or fungus.

I got fingerprints/debris on my piece, how do I make it shine again?

My favorite method is cold water (resin and heat do not mix) and a microfiber towel. If you have glasses, the glasses lens cleaning cloth works great! DO NOT use any spray cleaners for risk of chemical reaction that may damage your piece.

What are these swirls in my piece?

Those swirls are a part of the natural curing process of the resin! Resin generally cures clear under the right conditions; if you have a piece with swirls in it it means your piece was made on a chilly day in the PNW. This adds beauty, like the clouds in the Pacific Northwest sky.
